This week we introduce you to Shannon Ramsey, Operations Officer at Serve Kentucky, where she wears many hats. Shannon was raised in Nicholasville, KY, where she currently resides with her husband and teenage son. Shannon’s parents worked in the local school system when she was growing up, and they remain close to this day. Shannon studied business administration and marketing at Georgetown College with a minor in philosophy. She oversees Serve Kentucky's federal AmeriCorps and administrative grants, manages agency communications and social media channels, and provides support for meetings, events and trainings. Shannon shares how her team thrived during the pandemic with virtual meetings, collaborative tools, and elective after-hours social events.
